Celtx - What I use at the moment as it's free and works
The Film Programme - GO HERE NOW - From BBC Radio 4, great interviews with actors, directors, writers, producers and the like. Can listen live, get the BBC iPlayer or podcast it, archives on website.
Finaldraft - What seems to be one of the standard writing programs, but I haven't yet tried it
Hollywood Creative Directory - The bible for finding the people who get you to the people or the people that do what you want to be done with your script
Hollywood Lit Sales - A few broken links, but go to the 'Scripts Wanted/Jobs' page and maybe send yours to someone who will like it
Indie Producer - A mix of place to put your profile, people posting jobs, competitions, and other things
Inktip - Can put up features for a fee or shorts for free, weekly newsletter with call for scripts, some great advice, and links to competitions they trust.
Screenwriter Showcase - Sign up service I don't know about, but links to places to pitch screenplay and a sometimes helpful newsletter
Scriptshark - Can put your script out there is a place the people who want scripts come and look at - for a fee
Simply Scripts - EXCELLENT resource - Download scripts, and not just crappy one, but actuaaly all the good ones like all those Oscar ones and such
So You Wanna Sell a Script - Many thing including links to competitions, resources, coverage etc - worth having a good look at
Zoetrope - A cute site mostly run by users but backed by Coppolo's studio - you read a few screenplays and comment, then you get to put yours up and get comments. Also similar for stories and music
Competitions
Kaos Films - Purports to have "the best and most prestigious screenplay competitions in the world", but they would say that wouldn't they
Nyc Midnight - Does 48hr screenplay and short story competitions - don't know how many get picked up but it's fun to do and you get feedback
Script Pimp - Recommend by Inktip, who I trust because they emailed me to ask me how I was getting on with my script which I appreciated a lot
Slamdance - Various competitions and film festival
Short Script Awards - Interesting idea - if you win you get a production crew to make your film with
Writemovies - Competition that discovered 'Letters From Iwo Jima' so it has so good cred

Reality Wanted - A chance to be on TV without having to have any acting skills
